I am a writer, a blogger, an associate professor at the University of Connecticut School of Law, and a fellow at the Harvard Law School Program on Corporate Governance.

My main blog on economics, law, and public policy is The Baseline Scenario, which I share with Simon Johnson. You can follow The Baseline Scenario via emailRSSTwitter, or Facebook. You can see some of my favorite blog posts and articles on the Highlights page. I also write an online column for The Atlantic. The blog on this site is for more personal observations about the world. Subscription links for this blog are at the right.

My latest book is White House Burning: The Founding Fathers, Our National Debt, and Why It Matters To You (Pantheon, 2012), co-authored with Simon.

Simon and I also wrote 13 Bankers: The Wall Street Takeover and the Next Financial Meltdown (Pantheon, 2010).
